HDD Operator Training
Universal HDD offers practical operator training designed for contractors who want to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance on the job site. Our training programs combine essential theory with hands-on practice using real drilling equipment at our facility. Participants learn the fundamentals of machine operation, drilling control, equipment maintenance, and safe work procedures commonly used in horizontal directional drilling projects.
Training can be organized for individual operators or for full drilling crews, depending on your company’s needs. Sessions are conducted in a practical environment where operators can gain real experience with drilling systems, machine controls, and daily operational procedures.
For customers purchasing new equipment, Universal HDD also provides on-site instruction during machine delivery. Our technical representative can visit your job site and guide operators through the setup, operation, and best practices required for efficient drilling operations.
Our goal is to help operators and crews gain the knowledge and confidence needed to run drilling equipment safely, efficiently, and productively in real project conditions.
